Endless coastline, rugged mountains, rolling wheat fields and volcanoes, ancient Greek and Roman sites, gastronomy and history. The smallest mountain towns like tiny jewels, remote and isolated, seldom seen by tourists. Staying in Palermo, Taormina, Agrigento, Villa Romana del Casale and a visit to the culinary cliff top village of Erice. New Addition: a day cooking with a Sicilian food legend in the countryside.

Director of The Inspired Traveller, Sarah has conductred this Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica tour over the last four years, and despite the visits and research, says it remains impossible to choose a favourite, they all have such grandeur and charm. Privately, Sarah has chosen to go horse back riding for 7 days along the great Corsican alpine walking track, the GR20. Maybe that is a clue to where her heart lies in the Med!
