Marrakech, the Berber city at the axis of the Sarhara and Atlas Mountains is where our portrait of Morocco begins to take shape.
The south and Saharan Provinces embrace a variety of spectacular landscapes. The area is dotted with oases and extensive stoney deserts, boarded by the rugged mountains of the Anti Atlas. The tribal Berber people are shy and very self contained, always it seems, with a their focus on a far- away destination. Essaouira and the Southern Atlantic Coast are especially attractive and unexpected. Breathtaking coastal scenery, of the kind that when you return home you mount the photos as your screen saver! This tour is for travellers not tourists, as the clear design is to "get out there" and experience the grace and pleasure of moving through this ever changing, but always striking landscape.
